At Hilbert København, the jewellery is not only designed in Copenhagen. It is made here. Our trained goldsmiths follow every piece from the first idea to the final polish.
Idea and form
A piece begins with an idea, a sketch or a material. We develop the form with attention to proportion, wearability and Hilbert København's distinctive raw expression.
Choosing the material
We primarily work with recycled 925 sterling silver and 14 and 18 carat gold. Gemstones and antique pearls are selected for their colour and character.
At the workbench
The goldsmith shapes, saws, files, solders and adjusts every part in the workshop. It is precise work where subtle traces of hand and tool may remain.
Surface and finish
Finally, the jewellery is inspected and given its finished surface. It is cleaned and prepared to be worn.
Care throughout its life
Good jewellery should live for a long time. You are welcome to visit the workshop for cleaning, polishing or a professional assessment.
