Jewellery should live for a long time.

We assess and repair both Hilbert København jewellery and pieces made elsewhere. All work is completed or assessed by trained goldsmiths in our own workshop.

Ring sizing

We resize rings and always assess their shape, material and stones first.

Stones and settings

We set stones, inspect settings and assess loose or damaged gemstones.

Repairs

Your jewellery does not need to be made by Hilbert København. We repair rings, chains, clasps, ear studs and other jewellery parts.

Gold plating

We can renew gold plating and advise on surfaces, wear and the right solution.

Rhodium plating

We rhodium-plate white gold to restore its bright and even surface.

Cleaning and polishing

We clean and polish professionally with respect for gemstones, surfaces and the jewellery's original expression.

Craft, hallmarks and responsibility

Morten Hilbert has been a member of Kjøbenhavns Guldsmedelaug since 2002. The membership reflects our professional roots in Copenhagen's goldsmithing tradition.

Hilbert København holds the registered maker's mark HIL. Our jewellery carries the maker's mark and the relevant fineness mark when required by Danish law. The fineness mark identifies the precious metal: 333 for 8 carat gold, 585 for 14 carat gold, 750 for 18 carat gold and 925 for sterling silver.

We follow Danish rules for precious metal articles and are subject to supervision by the Danish Assay Office.

The available method and price depend on the material, construction and condition. A goldsmith therefore always inspects the jewellery before the work is agreed.
